At Flight Suspension LLC, we specialize in providing top-tier suspension services to ensure your bike performs at its best. Whether you're an avid racer or a weekend trail rider, our services are designed to meet your specific needs. Here's a breakdown of the suspension services we offer:
Suspension rebuilds focus on restoring your suspension to its original performance by replacing worn-out seals, bushings, and fluids. Over time, suspension components degrade due to wear and contamination, leading to reduced performance and reliability. A rebuild ensures your suspension stays in top condition, providing consistent performance and preventing potential damage. We recommend this service every 30-50hours or before the start of your race season, qualifying series, or National Championship races.
Who it's for:
A re-spring service involves replacing the stock springs with ones that are perfectly matched to your weight, riding style, and bike setup. Proper spring rates are essential for achieving the correct sag and balance, which are crucial for traction, stability, and comfort. This service is ideal for riders whose weight or riding conditions fall outside the standard specifications set by manufacturers.
Who it's for:
Our revalve service customizes the internal valving of your suspension to suit your riding style, skill level, and terrain preferences. By fine-tuning the shim stacks and damping characteristics, we can dramatically improve your bike's handling, stability, and overall feel. Whether you need a softer ride for technical trails or firmer damping for aggressive track use, a revalve ensures your suspension is dialed in to perform exactly how you want it to.
Considerable time is spent to build the damping profile that both matches your chosen style of riding, and also corrects for deficiencies in the stock designs and valving systems.

It is hard to estimate cost without tearing forks and shocks down and inspecting them. Below is an average estimate of total cost. 40 hours is a worst case scenario for normal service intervals, so that is an estimate on the higher end. Of course, if the bike has been ridden far past normal service intervals, wear and conditions could be worse. Parts replaced are always as needed and on inspection. Here are some general guidelines:

The basic guidelines for bikes is as follows:
65cc (60-80lbs)
85 cc (80-100lbs)
125cc (130-150)
250cc (140-160)
450cc (160-180)
If the rider is above or below any of these weights you will generally need springs. Of course these are very general guidelines, as makes, models, and intended use vary widely.
If you have questions, we can help with spring selection and installation.
Yes. All work has a satisfaction guarantee. If the rider does not like the suspension after he receives it, then 2 changes/re-valves will be free until said rider is happy with the performance.
All mechanical work is guaranteed for 30 days. If anything fails it will be fixed for free unless damage from a crash or extreme use is detected. Extreme use being mud race with standing water/water in the suspension. Damage to a fork tube or shock body from a crash or another rider will not be covered.
Customer supplied parts will not be warrantied for parts, labor, or fluids. We use the highest quality parts to do our best to eliminate comeback issues associated with low quality replacements.
Realistically only you can answer this question. If you are perfectly happy with the suspension performance, are within the guidelines of recommended weight then it may not be needed. If a rider approaches us for suspension work, and doesn't have any complaints, but thinks it can be better, changes will be made upon a consensus of riders who have ridden the bike and what changes they requested.
